I loved the way these trees were looming out of the mist on a country lane in South Devon. It had been raining for days. A reduction lino cut is a method of relief printing in which each colour layer is taken from the same block (lino), meaning that an entire edition must be printed in one go as once the lino has been carved into for the next layer, you can't go back to print more.

These trees were emerging from heavy sea mist on a country lane in South Devon, and inspired this reduction linocut. A reduction lino cut is a method of relief printing in which each colour layer is taken from the same block (lino), meaning that an entire edition must be printed in one go as once the lino has been carved into for the next layer, you can't go back to print more.
